Message	my next proj regarding the intercoolers is exactly what you're talking about. i already got rid of the cc canister. i will be putting a different shaped overflow tank there. also both side will recieve "vents" in the inner liner fender just like the audi s4. this way i get maximum air flowing through the intercooler.
